MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) surged to a new record high yesterday on the back of strong corporate earnings, economic bullishness abroad and expectations of more fund flows.
The PSEi rallied 2.35 percent or 163.38 points to close at its 27th all-time high this year at 7,120.48, which is also the new intraday record.
The bellwether index, which erased the previous all-time high of 6,957.10 recorded on April 19, breached the 7,000 mark in the morning session.

Last week, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, or the BRICS nations, met for their fifth summit in South Africa. The growth prospects in these economies are no longer immune to the severe debt crises in the West. In the short term, India and South Africa may be at the biggest risk of sovereign-rating downgrade.
Among the emerging economies, the Philippines is best placed for an upgrade. It is favorably positioned to sustain growth in an exceptionally grim international landscape.
During the past decade, I have used much time to analyze and to consult on the transformation of the major advanced and large emerging economies worldwide. After the global crisis of 2008-09, this transformation has only accelerated.

On a Japanese Windows and Microsoft Word PC, when you attempt to type in the backslash character it is displayed as the yen(¥) character.
Changing the font to Arial Unicode MS will let you type in backslash.

I am aware of the existence of DB2 from a long time ago and also on the help file for Lotus Domino Administrator you can see guides on how to connect Lotus Domino with DB2 so I downloaded a trial version to check it out.
IBM DB2 is a relational model database server developed by IBM. There are three main products in the DB2 family: DB2 for LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows), DB2 for z/OS (mainframe), and DB2 for iSeries (formerly OS/400). The DB2 LUW product runs on multiple Linux and UNIX distributions, such as Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, AIX, HP/UX, and Solaris, and most Windows systems. DB2 also powers the IBM InfoSphere Warehouse edition, which is basically DB2 LUW with DPF (Database Partitioning Feature), a massive parallel share-nothing data warehousing architecture.
